Arts Administrator

A dedicated Arts Administrator, Dr. Valente brings with her over 15 years of experience as a music educator, program director, recruiter, grant writer and performer. Among her many successful projects have been the creation of summer programs for middle and high school students, the development of outreach programs performed by undergraduate students for the public schools, and the implementation of a multi-faceted outreach program designed for an emerging opera company. From event planning and building relationships throughtout the community, to creating new programming and overseeing the continued development of existing initiatives, Dr. Valente is able to use her skills to further the goals of each organization with which she works.
